The bats in the cave fly round and round, round and round, round and round.
The bats in the cave fly round and round, all through the cave.
(Children flap arms as if flying)

 

The bats in the cave sleep all day sleep all day, sleep all day.
The bats in the cave sleep all day, all through the cave.
(Children tuck hands under opposite armpits)

 

The bats in the cave hang upside-down, upside-down, upside-down.
The bats in the cave hang upside-down, all through the cave.
(Children hang heads upside down)

 

The bats in the cave wake up at night, up at night, up at night.
The bats in the cave wake up at night, all through the cave.
(Children pretend to wake up)

 

The bats in the cave eat lots of bugs, lots of bugs, lots of bugs.
The bats in the cave eat lots of bugs all through the cave.
(Children pretend to eat bugs while "flying")

 

The bats in the cave fly round and round, round and round, round and round.
The bugs in the cave fly round and round, all through the cave.
(Children flap arms as if flying)
